In 1987 the Belgian food retailer Delhaize celebrated their 120th anniversary and to mark the event they had Matcbox produce the Renault in their livery.

Because there is more than one national language in Belgium the tampo print on the sides of the van were written in Flemish (Dutch) and Wallon (French).

'GEBRS DELHAIZE & CIE DE LEEUW' with '1867' and '1987' in gold with black shadow effect.
Gold and black crown with golden rays and prone lion in gold and black.
'OVERAL IN BELGIE' in black on black outlined plinth with gold scrolls all on greyish white panel.
'No 3' in gold with black shadow effect.
Right Side
'DELHAIZE FRERES & CIE DE LION' with '1867' and '1987' in gold with black shadow effect.
Gold and black crown with golden rays and prone lion in gold and black.
'PARTOUT EN BELGIQUE' in black on black outlined plinth with gold scrolls all on greyish white panel.
'No 3' in gold with black shadow effect.
Header Board
'DELHAIZE LE LION' in green with gold shadow effect.

Variations/Rarities: The rear number plate braces were thickened during the production run so both thin and thick braces can be found on this model.
The baseplate inscription always read "Matchbox © 1986 Macau".
There are no rare variations.
